Meet Emma – Your Guide to History, Culture, and Hidden Stories

Bonjour! I’m Emma, a passionate tour guide from Mont-de-Marsan, France, with a deep love for history, architecture, art, and storytelling. I studied at the École du Louvre, where I trained to bring history to life through immersive, engaging tours.

For nearly three years, I’ve been guiding travelers through some of the most fascinating cultural and historical sites. My specialty? Uncovering the stories behind the landmarks—not just the well-known facts, but the hidden gems, fun details, and forgotten tales that make each place truly come alive.

I believe history isn’t just about dates and names—it’s about preserving stories for future generations. Whether it’s the intricate carvings on a centuries-old cathedral, the artistic masterpieces tucked away in unexpected corners, or the Christian heritage woven into European cities, I love sharing these narratives in a way that’s engaging, memorable, and meaningful.

Fluent in French and English (and quickly mastering Spanish!), I’ve also taught French in Alaska and walked the legendary Camino de Santiago—an experience that deepened my connection to history, culture, and the people who shape it.

When I’m not guiding, you’ll find me exploring new places, uncovering more fascinating stories to share, and hopefully soon, getting a dog to join me on my adventures!

I can’t wait to take you beyond the guidebooks and show you a side of history you won’t forget. Let’s explore together!

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
